Anatomy of Swell III

Swell III is a warm, ultra-light down coat with a relaxed, oversized silhouette and a high collar with fixed hood for added protection. Snowproof, wind- and water-resistant, it delivers dependable comfort down to –10 °C / –15 °C while weighing only 980 grams in size Small. The 750 fill power RDS-certified down provides excellent warmth without bulk, and the breathable mechanical stretch fabric ensures easy movement. Zippered waist pockets, an inside chest pocket, and integrated 3M reflective tape add everyday functionality and safety.

Snowproof and wind- and water-resistant fabric provides reliable shelter in changing conditions while maintaining breathability.

A perfect coat

I had been looking for a coat like this for sometime but couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in the shops. I wanted good quality, down, rain resistant etc. I already had a Scandinavian Edition coat which has served me very well for a number of years but it was time to replace it. I was nervous about buying on-line but found the support of the help desk very useful. So I took the plunge and ordered on-line knowing I could return it if it wasn’t the right fit. But I’m most definitely not sending it back! Fabulous quality and super cosy. The first weekend I got it I was in temperatures of minus 15 and I was warm and snug. So this is my second coat from Scandinavian Edition and it will not be my last!

Outstanding Warmth, Comfort and Quality

I recently purchased the Swell III jacket and am extremely satisfied with both its quality and performance.

In terms of warmth and comfort, the jacket is excellent. It is warm, breathable, and very cosy. The neckline is also very well designed; even when fully zipped, it remains comfortable and does not feel restrictive.

Regarding fit and appearance, I am 160 cm tall and chose size XS, which fits perfectly. The sleeve length and overall jacket length are ideal, giving it a very flattering silhouette. The material looks premium, and the attention to detail is evident in the stitching, pockets, and overall finish.

Overall, this has become my favourite jacket. I believe the quality and performance are outstanding, and the price is entirely justified. I would highly recommend it.

Poor conditions - Parka damaged

I received my parka with a large cut from which the feathers and filling were coming out. I’m concerned about the quality and durability of the fabric.

Thank you for leaving a review. I also found the images from your earlier conversations with my colleague, Ida, and I want to offer my sincere apologies. This jacket should never have been shipped out.

After reviewing the photos, it appears the jacket was accidentally cut by a knife — most likely when the bulk shipment was opened at our warehouse. Someone wasn’t careful enough when opening the box and seems to have cut through the outer plastic bag and into the jacket itself.

I’ve worked at Scandinavian Edition since 2019 and have never seen an issue like this before. We use a third-party warehouse provider, and this was likely an accident that occurred on their end.

I can see that a new jacket is on its way to you to replace the damaged one. I hope this meets your expectations and keeps you warm and protected throughout the winter months.
