This coat features a wind- and water-resistant construction. It will handle light rain and is fully snowproof — built for winter conditions. The fabric itself is waterproof, but because the shoulder seams are not taped, we classify the coat as water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. In everyday use, it will comfortably withstand snow and light to moderate rain.
Insulated with Certified Down
This coat is insulated with 90% down and 10% feathers, creating the ideal balance of loft, warmth, and that signature puffy feel. It uses high-quality 750+ fill power down, which provides exceptional insulation with minimal weight — offering more warmth from less material. The insulation is RDS-certified (Responsible Down Standard), ensuring that all down and feathers come from farms that follow strict animal-welfare principles and are fully traceable throughout the supply chain.

Meridian’s below-the-knee length is one of its greatest advantages in truly cold weather. By extending well past the hips and thighs, it traps significantly more warm air around the lower body — an area where shorter coats lose heat quickly.
