I owned the excellent Urban II Onyx model for cycling and was looking for a jacket specifically for walking and city wear. The Shelter II model is perfect in every way. The snap buttons at the front of the jacket improve waterproofing, and there's even a magnetic closure on the hood. The jacket is lightweight and incredibly comfortable. I'm 1.71m tall and weigh 64kg, and I ordered a size M. I can wear a sweater underneath without any discomfort. I highly recommend it. Having purchased the Loft model a few years ago, I wanted something even longer with real down and understated elegance. I searched for months until I finally found what I was looking for at Scandinavian Edition again. I ordered it immediately and wasn't disappointed – quite the opposite! Hot and comfortable, this jacket is very functional and light.
Runs maybe a bit large (size L ordered, I am 180 cm / 80 kg, and can wear it easily with a sweat/hoodie, and still have room).
Tested from 0 to 10 degrees so far, great thermal confort - hood, pockets and neck confort are excellent.
This jacket is the best jacket I have.
