How to read these temperatures

Ratings are a guide for an average person moving at a normal pace.

  • You run cold? Use the switch above, or plan on a mid-layer.
  • Dress the whole body. Cold feet, hands or a bare neck will make you feel cold in any jacket.
  • Damp feels colder. Humid coastal air and wind feel several degrees colder than dry cold.

Wear a knit, fleece or a light vest underneath and you stay comfortable down to +5°. Wind and rain stay out.

How Does It Fit?

Trip II is designed with a relaxed everyday silhouette, offering a more casual fit than our fitted styles.

Compared to more tailored jackets, Trip II provides additional room through the body for comfort and ease of movement. However, based on customer feedback, the fit can feel slightly small for some customers — especially when layering.

We recommend choosing your normal size for a clean, intended fit. If you are between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit with additional room for layering, we recommend sizing up.

If you are uncertain about sizing, please email us at support@scandinavianedition.com and we will be happy to help.

How we measure

All measurements are taken flat on the outside of the garment. They don't account for the insulation inside, so the space inside the jacket is slightly smaller.

  • 1/2 Chest: measured 2 cm below the armhole.
  • Sleeve Length: from the high point shoulder (HPS) to the end of the sleeve.
  • Center Back Length: at the back, from where the hood or collar joins the body to the hem.
