Loft II — Onyx
This brand truly knows what it’s doing. I’m a coat enthusiast and have owned many jackets over the years — including technical ones. I recently replaced another Norwegian premium brand’s Regulator parka with the Scandinavian Edition Loft II parka. I also own the Torrent from the same brand and have been extremely satisfied with it.
I’ve already had the chance to test the Loft in Finland’s late autumn, and I can say it’s the most perfect winter jacket I know. It’s warm and gives you the feeling that you’re ready to face any weather.
It may sound strange or even silly, but wearing the Loft feels like being wrapped in a warm, light embrace. It’s a technical jacket, yet it feels as if it has already molded to my body, behaving almost like a tailored piece. It’s exceptionally well thought out, robust, functional, and in the Onyx color subtly stylish — like the armor of a black knight. You can wear it with anything, in any situation.
The hand-warmer pockets are positioned at exactly the right height, the hood feels perfect, and there are plenty of pockets. Wearing it just gives you a strong sense of comfort and confidence. I don’t know exactly why that is — it simply works.
I highly recommend the Loft II parka.
