At the core of its hybrid construction is a soft, wind- and water-repellent fabric that protects against the elements, while 60 gsm Thinsulate™ synthetic insulation provides lightweight warmth without bulk. The sleeves, made from 100% merino wool, bring natural breathability and comfort, enhanced with shield wool, a water-repellent treatment that defends against light rain while maintaining the wool’s soft feel.
Leeway is designed for versatile layering. Wear it under a winter coat for added warmth during colder months, or use it as a lightweight outer layer over a t-shirt or shirt in milder weather. The extended sleeves offer extra coverage on cold days and make layering over a sweater or flannel effortless—if preferred, the cuffs can be rolled up for a clean finish. A relaxed sleeve width prevents restriction, ensuring your shirt sleeves move freely underneath. The close-fitting turtle neck is engineered for superior wind protection, sealing in warmth when zipped up.
