Scandinavia's proximity to the arctic circle demands warm jackets for fall and winter. We design our jackets with the finest insulation for superior warmth – we work with high-quality insulation manufacturers such as DuPont, 3M Thinsulate, and Thermore to give you warm, durable, eco- and animal-friendly synthetic insulation. The result is jackets that offer great freedom of movement and superior warmth.

Thermore, founded in 1972 in Milan, is a worldwide leader in the research, production, and marketing of synthethic thermal insulations for apparel and sleeping bags.

Ecodown® has traditionally been the sustainable alternative to down feathers. Now Thermore® takes the next step towards sustainability by converting the Ecodown® product line to fully recycled content derived exclusively from PET water bottles. The new Ecodown® is the only synthetic product in the market to be made from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles. This allows the reuse of many bottles, which would have otherwise ended their useful life as waste in a landfill.

Depending on the application, outerwear insulated with Ecodown® can save up to 10 bottles per garment! Also, using PET bottles instead of oil will help protect energy reserves for future generations. What's equally impressive is that the new Ecodown® 100% recycled thermal insulation does not require special quilting restrictions or fabrics and can be cleaned and/or dry cleaned confidently. This high level of durability equates to exceptional, long-term warmth over the life of a garment.

3M Thinsulate Insulation is warm yet lightweight - powerful yet thin. It helps trap and hold body heat while allowing moisture to escape. The extremely fine microfibers in Thinsulate insulation help trap air and block body radiant heat loss, making it an efficient insulator. The high warmth-to-thickness ratio of this insulation enables garment designs with less bulk and enhanced freedom of movement.

Our Down Jackets are insulated with 90/10 RDS Certified Down. 90/10 means that the down has 90% down and 10% feathers. The higher the number in favor of down, the warmer the jacket – however you need some feathers in the mix to maintain the puffy feeling of a down jacket. A 90/10 mix is recognized as a ratio used in high-end down products.

RDS (The Responsible Down Standard) aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to any unnecessary harm. The standard intends to reward and influence the down and feather industry to incentivize practices that respect the humane treatment of ducks and geese.
