Down needs time to loft

Your jacket was packed tightly for shipping, so the down is compressed and the jacket can look a bit flat when it arrives. That is completely normal – here is how to bring it back.

Shake it out

Give the jacket a gentle shake to spread the down evenly inside.

Let it hang

Hang it in a well-ventilated room, away from direct heat and sunlight, for up to 48 hours. Down keeps you warm by trapping air, and it needs this time to regain its full loft.

Still a little flat?

No need to do anything – the down keeps expanding on its own. If you want to speed it up, tumble dry the jacket on low heat with a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls.
